UPDATE: The two-man team over at Pixtant decided to create a Udemy video tutorial that shows exactly how they reskinned the Mustache Bash source code. If you’re not an expert iOS programmer, then be sure to get it.
What I Love About This iOS App Source Code
- $12,500+ in revenue!!!
- Over 745,000 downloads and counting…
- Top 100 Overall app in 44 countries (Top 10 Overall in 3 countries; #1 Photo app in 2 countries)
- Over 800 reviews/ratings with an average of 4.5 stars for all versions
Reasons Why Reskins of Mustache Bash Are Easy
1. The SDKs are already integrated . Mustache Bash has Flurry (tracking and AppSpot) Revmob, Playhaven, and Sincerely Ship, which adds postcard printing and earns me commissions.
How to Make Your Money Back
☞ 7 in-app purchases offer steady revenue. Check out the numbers from App Annie.
☞ The Revmob and Playhaven interstitials IDs are already set up in the best places. Check out the screenshot from my Revmob dashboard.
☞ The Playhaven More Apps plug-in with the red number notification attracts the attention on the Home screen.
☞ Unlocking a secret pack gives users an incentive to invite Facebook friends and drive downloads.
☞ Local notifications pull users back into the app.
☞ The minimal effort and investment needed to reskin (and cheap, highly rated Photoshop specialists on oDesk ) mean that you can get your app in the black quickly.
☞ The buttons and UI are fully localized in Simplified and Traditional Chinese!
☞ You basically get 2 apps in 1 because you can create the premium version with all the in-app purchase unlocked for next to nothing and get a nice extra bump with paid downloads. Check out Mustache Bash Luxury Edition .
Exactly What To Do for Your Reskin
- Pick a cool niche or theme. The possibilities are endless: make-up, hairstyles, superheroes, hippie, gangster.
- Make a list of funny features related to the theme that people can layer on top of their pictures.
- Divide these features up into 8 packs.
- Give all the features and packs goofy names.
- Hire a Photoshop specialist on oDesk to create all the .png image files for you, as well as a new app icon, Home and Loading screens (and all related “slices”), features gallery button, and email share button.
- Hire a cheap programmer to swap out all the image files for you and replace all the old IDs with the new ones.
- Be sure to ask the programmer to put the new name and links into all the strings and local notifications.
- Run through your normal testing procedures and pre-submission checklist.
Pretty easy, right? The User Interface is this iOS app source code has always been pretty straightforward.
More Ideas for Your Reskin…
- Add even more image packs as in-app purchases.
- Add Instagram (super easy) in the Social toolbar.
- Make the app universal to target iPad users.
- Add a soundtrack (for in-app purchase).
- Add a borders or captions pack (for in-app purchase).
How much is it?
You have two options.
$79 gets you a Single Use license (meaning that you can make 1 app). Building this app yourself would take 270 development hours, not to mention the six weeks of waiting for the code to be finished. You’re not just buying a monetization model. You’re also buying time. That’s why reskinning apps is so important: you don’t have to wait like you would for custom builds.
If you want to do more than one reskin, you can get a major discount: a Multi Use license is $99. I know everyone’s on a different budget, but if you can swing it, then this license can definitely help take your app business to a new level of profitability. You won’t find a better photo booth source code at this price.
Choose the license below that works for you, and send payment.
As soon as I receive confirmation, I will email you the link. You can then download the .zip file from Dropbox.

Hi quick question is this code 64bit compliant as well? If not is there a chance you will add it? I will still purchase it after you make it 64 bit. Infact I bought the original version prior to ios8. So I have it with me. But if you make this 64 bit I will still buy the updated version. thanks
